Join us in honoring the Tacoma Narrows Rotary Scholarship winners, recipients of the Golden Acorn, and the U.P. Volunteers and Organization of the Year.
Only persons who have served without monetary remuneration for their services are eligible for nomination.
Volunteer services must have been performed during the 2014 calendar year.
Volunteer services must have been performed within the University Place Community.
Services must have benefited the community as a whole.
Value/Impact to the Community: How did this volunteer’s service affect the community. Was there a benefit to the entire City or did only a small group benefit? Was it a lasting impact?
Scope of the Service: Did the service have long-term benefits? How many hours, (weeks, months) did the project take? Is the project on-going?
Leadership Role: How did this candidate prove his leadership ability? Was he/she able to interest and involve others?
Dependability: How was the dependability of this candidate demonstrated?
Dedication and Follow-through: Did this candidate initiate the project? Remain with it to completion?
Approximate hours/length of service or project: Please state (as closely as possible) the number of hours of service related to this project.
